Thank you for your interest in Black Rose^TM and our Gateway meeting.

Gateway is a special Black Rose^TM meeting intended for individuals (19 and older) who are either new to BDSM or new to BR. Gateway is designed to facilitate getting your questions answered. A typical Gateway meeting has 10 - 20 participants (typical ages are 25 - 60) and always runs from 8 - 10 PM on the 1st Thursday of the month. The meeting is an informal discussion and there is nothing you have to bring. We do ask for a $5 contribution to help offset the cost of the meeting room. Casual or business attire is more appropriate than scene wear.

Gateway is held in the Hyatt Regency Hotel - 400 New Jersey Avenue, NW Washington, DC 20005.

Parking is usually available on the street. The nearest Metro station is Union Station about three blocks away. Inquire at the hotel registration desk regarding which meeting room Black Rose^TM will be using.

Please check the calendar of events for the date of the next Gateway meeting.

Also, please be aware that you can come to any Black Rose^TM weekly (Tuesday night) meeting without first joining Black Rose^TM or making a reservation (same goes for Gateway). The one exception is the members-only monthly Board Meeting which held on the third Tuesday each month in lieu of a regular education meeting.
