As a courtesy to our security conscious members, Black RoseTM's membership list is extremely confidential. It is carefully held in confidence and used solely for administrative purposes. It is not available to the group at large and certainly never given to anyone outside the group for any reason.
There are two levels of membership - Regular and Associate. You may become a member at any time during the year. However, all memberships expire on June 30th. You may become a member at any meeting or by following the instructions below.
Memberships in both categories cost the same -- $35 for an individual, $45 for a couple and $60 for a family of three. The only difference between levels is that Associate members do not have voting privileges. Becoming a Black RoseTM member at either level is valuable because of the privileges. In addition to the ones listed below, regular members receive the right to vote and to hold office:
Regular Member Benefits include:
- A membership card which identifies you as a member of Black RoseTM, Inc. at our events and serves as an introduction to many of our sister S/M organizations' meetings & functions around the country.
- Reduced admission costs for Black RoseTM meetings, socials and other events. Due to the closely-held nature of our membership list we do not keep a copy at the meetings. Therefore, you will need to present your membership card at the door to receive your discount.
- Invitation to any special "member-only" parties and events.
- Subscription to our newsletter, published every other month.
- Voting rights in all general elections.
- Discounts at several retail and social establishments.
- A free pin to all first time members
You must be at least nineteen years old to belong to Black RoseTM, Inc. If you live within a 100-mile radius of the US Capitol, you may become a Regular member. If you live outside the 100-mile radius, we will be glad to accept you as an Associate member.
The membership form may be downloaded (see instructions below), printed, filled out and signed. Snail mail the completed form to us at: Black RoseTM, Inc., PO Box 101222, Arlington VA 22210-4222.
