Tired
of being in knife play limbo? Already know all about knife safety and
first aid but aren't quite ready to slice open your partner on purpose?
Then it's time for Knife Play 201. This class is designed for mid-level
knife players from both sides of the blade. While *not* for beginners,
both knife tops and knife bottoms may learn something. It focuses on
everything from how to handle things when (not if, but when) blood
appears in the scene, to learning more about where you can and can't
put a knife -- both from a common sense perspective and from a RACK
perspective. Familiarity with the basics of knife play as well as a
rudimentary knowledge of first aid will be assumed for all attendees.</span>

until the last
decade or so, once he did, he quickly became a convert. Through a
series of willingly participating knife bottoms, he quickly outgrew the
available crop of beginner knifeplay classes. Since he's not yet been
bitten by the really advanced knifeplay (a.k.a. cutting and/or
scarification), he found himself noting that there weren't many
opportunities to learn at the "intermediate" level. Finally, when
nobody else seemed willing to step up and teach one, he sat down and
created one himself. After taking the class on the road this past fall,
Sas is pleased to get a chance to teach this in his home, here in DC. </span>
